Job Overview:
BYD, the global leader in new energy vehicles, is looking for highly motivated and experienced Trade Marketing position to lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies across key markets in Latin America (LATAM). This role will be pivotal in driving brand growth, optimizing retail and distribution networks, and ensuring alignment between marketing and sales goals in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored to specific LATAM markets.
Plan and implement in-store and outdoor marketing activities, promotions, trade shows, and dealer programs to boost brand visibility and sales volume.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to strategies.
Manage budgets for marketing campaigns and ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors, dealers, and partners to ensure successful execution of company plans and goals.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive execution of trade marketing plans.
Track and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Provide regular reports and insights on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities to senior management.
Identify and implement innovative marketing techniques to differentiate BYD s products in the LATAM market.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. (A Master s degree is a plus).
3+ years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the automotive, technology, or FMCG industries.
Experience working with dealers, distributors, or retail networks. Strong knowledge of retail and distribution networks, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Fluent in English.
Experience in managing large-scale budgets and marketing campaigns.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, with a focus on achieving results.
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools is a plus.
