At Dorel Juvenile, home to recognized brands such as Infanti, we are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative solutions for families. We are looking for an experienced IT Manager LATAM to join our regional team and support our technology operations across Latin America.

Role Purpose

The IT Manager LATAM will be part of the Global Technology team, supporting Global Infrastructure, IT Security, and IT Operations across the Latin American region.

This position will report to the Global IT Director and will work closely with local business leaders, regional IT teams, external vendors, and global IT managers to implement technology standards, security policies, infrastructure initiatives, and operational procedures that support Dorel Juvenile s business needs across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT staff and vendors across Latin America, currently including Chile, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru.

  • Manage regional IT Security, Infrastructure, and IT Operations.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to local IT team members.

  • Manage onsite support and helpdesk operations for the LATAM region.

  • Work closely with local business leaders to understand IT projects, priorities, and support needs.

  • Interact with local vendors to ensure proper delivery of services, equipment, and technical support.

  • Manage approved annual IT budgets for each location, identifying opportunities to consolidate costs regionally and globally.

  • Implement and ensure adherence to approved IT policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Lead infrastructure, security, and operational improvement projects.

  • Act as Project Manager when required.

  • Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, risks, KPIs, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support internal and external audit activities related to IT controls and compliance.

  • Travel to regional locations when needed and approved, in order to understand local needs and support business requirements.

Perfil deseado

Requirements:


The candidate must have previous experience leading IT teams in regional or multinational environments, with strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, operations, support, and cybersecurity. Experience managing vendors, budgets, and technology projects is required. The role also requires technical knowledge of Active Directory, Windows/Linux servers, Office 365, networks, firewalls, cloud services, backups, and security best practices. Intermediate to advanced English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, as the role requires communication with global teams. Fluent Spanish is also required, and Portuguese is considered a plus.
