Your Mission: 

Responsible for troubleshooting operational critical issues directly with field operators across multiple product lines to reduce non-productive time, escalating issues requiring field service technician support.

Monitor overall performance of field systems through remote access and data streams, reporting maintenance conditions and status of assets.

Ensure client data is streamed from site, meets QAQC requirements and is delivered promptly to clients through a variety of mediums.

This role acts as a key support to in-field operators to improve efficiencies and reduce downtime.

 Responsibilities: 

• Perform fault diagnosis and identification on the electrical/mechanical/automation systems of the in-field logging units using a combination of remote access software and direct communications with field operators, ensuring safety of all personnel is a priority. Provide first/second level of technical support where necessary. Escalate as required

• Ensure accurate log entries of faults along with technical troubleshooting and provision of resolutions for analysis by management

• Liaise with all stakeholders including Managers, Field Supervisors and Operators to secure feedback, improve outcomes and ensure distribution of key reporting

• Monitor in-field vehicles via the Operations Centre using, Power BI, Mix Telematics, Grafana etc.

• Maintain and update troubleshooting procedures for operational support and improved performance of the OreSight fleet.

• Install, configure, test, and maintain software applications (custom and third party) on field systems.

• Quality control OreSight log data using custom applications and work with field staff to address any issues immediately once identified.

• Interface with field and maintenance staff to ensure that maintenance schedules are maintained (e.g. flux calibration, cable head maintenance, truck inspections, etc.)

• Able to track performance of operational assets and understand maintenance conditions and status.

• Assist as required with writing incident reports, root cause analyses and after action reviews.

• Identify areas of potential improvement & development to increase productivity and reliability.

• Assist with training new Global Geoscience RTOC Technicians and various field operators as required.

• Be available to workdays, holidays, and weekends on a rolling roster as the business requires

• Travel to site if required (approx. 2-4 times per year)

• Participate in ongoing team training.
