Data Center Electricity Operator

Responsibilities 

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center. 

• Identify operational risks and conduct vendor operation and maintenance quality assessments. 

• Act as the technical point of contact for all facilities-related issues in the data center, escalating complex matters to the global HQ technical team when required. 

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on critical equipment failures. 

• Troubleshoot, document, and report facility- and data server level incidents, ensuring resolution within internal SLAs. 

• Develop, implement, and improve standard operating practices for technicians and IDC vendor support teams. 

• Provide training and technical guidance to operations teams, including MOP, SOP, and EOP procedures. 

• Ensure full compliance with EHS policies and procedures by vendors and internal staff. 

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields. 

• 3+ years of experience in data center infrastructure or other critical environments, or 5+ years of relevant technical training or hands-on experience. 

• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with data center facilities, such as UPS, transformers, and chillers. 

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and technologies. 

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (mandatory). 

• Availability to work on-site / in the field as required.
