Mission of the position

As a Business Analyst within the Technology Operations Management (TOM) / Network Technology Operations (NTO) team, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across our technology landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, evaluate operational data, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to optimize technology operations. Your analytical expertise and understanding of technology operations will support the team in enhancing efficiency, mitigating risks, and achieving strategic objectives.

Main functions

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Engage with business, IT, and operations stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs and objectives.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements using structured techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, process mapping).

  • Develop comprehensive requirement artifacts such as business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows relevant to TOM/NTO functions.

Operational & Data Analysis

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data related to technology and network operations (e.g., system performance, incident management, service metrics).

  • Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Prepare and present analytical findings, actionable insights, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Process Optimization

  • Assess current TOM/NTO processes, workflows, and controls to identify gaps and inefficiencies.

  • Design and document optimized processes that align with business goals and operational best practices.

  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness.

Solution Evaluation & Implementation Support

  • Conduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed technology and process changes.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to define and validate system requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs.

  • Support testing, quality assurance, and change management activities to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Foster effective collaboration across cross-functional teams (IT, network operations, business units, management).

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather input, drive consensus, and resolve issues.

  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly to all relevant stakeholders.

Security Program Support

  • Support ISO 27001 certification program in Chile.

  • Respond to client security requests.

  • Review security terms in legal documentation.

Perfil deseado

Required Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within technology operations, network operations, or IT environments.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.

  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and data analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).

  • Knowledge of technology operations, network operations best practices, and current industry trends.

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
