We are currently seeking an Executive Director for an important foundation dedicated to children and adolescents, creating opportunities for sustainable development, education, solidarity, and the promotion of human rights in their communities. The foundation has presence in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Purpose of the Role
The Executive Director will be responsible for the organization s strategic, organizational, and operational management. The mission is to lead and consolidate the foundation in Chile, ensuring financial sustainability, legal compliance, a high-performance culture, innovation, and strategic alliances. Ultimately, the goal is to promote children s rights, support vulnerable communities, and maximize social impact in Chile.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Representation: Direct the organization in Chile, represent GN before authorities, donors, media, and the private sector, positioning it as a leading actor in social development.
Organizational & Operational Management: Oversee programs and projects, ensure quality and transparency, lead high-performing teams, and secure an efficient organizational structure.
Fundraising & Financial Sustainability: Design and implement diversified fundraising strategies (donations, corporate partnerships, international cooperation), strengthening sustainable revenue streams.
Governance & Compliance: Report to the Board of Directors and GPC, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and promote global policies on child protection, ethics, and accountability.
Perfil deseado
Requirements
Bachelor s degree required. Postgraduate studies in administration, leadership, public policy, nonprofit management, or international development highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory).
Availability to travel within and outside of Chile (mandatory).
Professional Experience
Minimum of 5 to 10 years in senior leadership positions within NGOs, foundations, international organizations, or nonprofit institutions.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and building relationships with public and private stakeholders.
