The Operations Manager will manage a team comprised of full-time field technicians and mechanics responsible for repairing vehicles and keeping them charged. The logistics of managing this team is a worthy challenge for a talented, mission-driven people and operations leader.

The Operations Managers current direct reports include the shop supervisor, fleet supervisors, inventory controller, and engineering technician who tests and develops current and future electric vehicles. Those direct reports in turn manage a rapidly growing team of employees and contractors. The Operations Manager reports to the City Manager of Scoot Santiago.

As a Operations Manager, you will:
- Grow the Santiago fleet organization as the vehicle fleet grows, adding field technicians and mechanics as well as necessary support staff
- Design and build operational practices that will enable the city and company to scale
- Work cross functionally with other teams and ensure new vehicles are deployed on time
- Use best practices provided by the Service Engineering team to implement efficient maintenance and charging operations
- Create playbooks, metrics and contingency plans to govern day-to-day operations
- Build, maintain and monitor reports, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate performance
- Maximize safety and vehicle availability while reducing cost per ride and cost per vehicle
- Develop and inspire Scoots largest team to do great and important work and excel in their careers

Requisitos Minimos:
Relevant experience and mindset:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business management is expected, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements and have meaningful track records of success in other fast-paced environments
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field or other comparable training
- Strong people management skills and proven track record
- Ability to think big to drive step changes in our growth and innovation strategy
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems logically
- Bias toward action and master disambiguator / simplifier - constantly pushing toward clarity and execution
- Great collaboration skills; you are someone who proactively partners across teams while holding them accountable for business results
- Strong Excel / data management skills
- Strong project management skills
